Work was carried out at the Gymnasium school of the Myrtias Community to make it functional, accessible, and safe. Additionally, the special Gymnasium of Pyrgos was relocated, which is currently housed in the primary school of Agios Ioannis.

According to the existing situation, the Gymnasium school building of the Myrtias Community on the first floor had five classrooms, a computer lab, and a Physics/Chemistry lab. On the ground floor, there were teachers' offices with restroom facilities for both men and women, the principal's office with restroom facilities, a cafeteria area, a multipurpose hall, and restroom facilities for both boys and girls.

Additionally, hygiene and use-related works were carried out, including colorings, repairs, etc. Constructions were implemented to improve the functionality of the classroom and ensure unimpeded access for individuals with special needs. These include two accessible heavy-duty classrooms in the open space, an accessible restroom for people with disabilities (PWD), and an external elevator with dimensions compliant with the Greek Government specifications.
